King’s Cross Construction Skills Centre (KXCSC) is the London Borough of Camden’s flagship Skills Centre, and has been operational since June 2004. Here at the Centre we specialise in offering training, apprenticeships, employment advice and guidance to local residents keen on gaining construction qualifications, and starting or furthering a career in within the construction industry.

  • Electrical Installation

Short construction training courses aimed at strengthening a persons employability in the construction industry, courses include:

  • CSCS level 1 health and safety award
  • Demolition labouring CCDO
  • Scaffold Labouring COTS
  • Traffic marshal
  • Manual handling
  • Asbestos awareness

The training is primarily available to Camden and Islington residents aged 16 to no upper age limit although all London boroughs are accepted as long as the person is unemployed or coming from another industry thats not construction.

Additional services

In addition to the above courses KXCSC help 16 plus local residents access apprenticeships in a variety of trades from electrical,plumbing, steel fixing to site management and many more, in and around Camden and on the exciting innovative new development at King's Cross Central.Our job brokerage team specialises in providing advice and guidance to local residents seeking employment within the construction industry.
